Elise Parisian is a printmaker and mixed media artist whose approach to printmaking embraces experimentation and unpredictability. It is not uncommon for Parisian to make prints with the explicit intention of cutting them up and collaging them or using them as a catalyst for an entirely different project. Her work is currently focused on exploring themes of presence/absence, memory, and ghosts. Parisian is a Chicago native and is currently working on her MFA at The School of the Art Institute.
